Moody's Investors Service has raised the US sovereign outlook from negative to stable and affirmed the country's triple-A rating yesterday (July 18th).
穆迪投资者服务公司将美国主权前景从消极提高至稳定，并在昨天（7月18日）确认美国评级为AAA。

The credit rating agency cited steady growth despite reduced government spending among its reasons and the diminished threat of a cut to the world's biggest economy's rating should filter through to make significant stock market news.

Moody's explained the government's debt trajectory numbers are in line with the criteria it had previously set out.

The US economy is only experiencing slow growth, but is progressing at a quicker rate than some of its AAA peers.

"We think that they will raise the debt ceiling, as they always have in the past. But even if there's some delay, we're not too concerned about that affecting the government's ability to service its debt," said Steven Hess, Moody's lead US sovereign credit analyst.
